حضرت عمر فاروق رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک خواب دیکھا کہ جب دنیا ظلم سے بھر جائے گی تو ایک بیٹا پیدا ہو گا جو ظلم کو ختم کرے گا اور دنیا میں عدل کو قائم کریے گاجب آپ ببدار ہوئے تو خوش ھو کر کہنے لگا وہ اشج کون ہو گا مطلب وہ کون ہو گا جس کی پیشانی پہ  زخم کا نشان ہو گا کہا گیا کہ وہ بنو امیہ سے ہو گا اور آپ کی اولاد سے بھی ہو گاآپ کو اس کی تعبیر سمجھ نہ آئی آپ انتظار کرنے لگے
ایک اور واقعہ یہ ہوا کہ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ایک رات گشت کر ریے ہیں تو ایک گھر سے آواز سنائی دی ایک خاتون اپنی بیٹی کو کہ رہی ہے کہ دودھ میں پانی ڈال دو وہ لڑکی کہتی ہے امیر المؤمنین کا حکم ہے کہ پانی نہیں ڈالنا خاتون کہتی ہے کہ اس وقت امیرالمؤمنین تو نہیں دیکھ ریے وہ لڑکی کہتی ہے کہ امیرالمؤمنین کا خدا تو دیکھ رہا ہےحضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ یہ ساری باتیں سن کر گھر آجاتے ہیں صبح پنے بیٹے حضرت عاصم رضی اللہ عنہ کے لئے اس بچی کا پیغام نکاح بھیجتے ہیں اور شادی ہو جاتی ہے اللہ تعالی اس لڑکی سے ایک اور بچی ہیدا کرتا ہے جس کا نام لیلیٰ رکھا جاتا ہے پھر اس لڑکی لیلیٰ سے ایک بیٹا پیدا کرتا یے دنیا جسے عمر بن عبدالعزیز رضی اللہ عنہ کہتی ہے یوں حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کا خواب بھی پورا ہو جاتا ہے

Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) had a dream that when the world is filled with oppression, a son will be born who will end oppression and establish justice in the world. When he became angry, he said happily, It means who will be the one who will have a scar on his forehead? It was said that he will be from the Umayyads and also from your children. You did not understand its meaning. You started waiting.

Another incident was that Hazrat Umar (RA) was patrolling one night when a voice came from a house and a woman was telling her daughter to put water in her milk. The girl said: Dalna Khatun says that Amir al-mu'minin is not watching at the moment. The girl says that Amir al-mu'minin's God is watching. Hazrat Umar (RA) comes home after hearing all these things. The marriage is arranged and the marriage takes place. Allah Almighty gives another girl to this girl whose name is Laila. Then this girl gives birth to a son from Laila. The world calls him Umar bin Abdul Aziz. Allah's dream also comes true
